At the core of a Fessenden education is a challenging yet supportive academic program which is enriched by close attention and mentoring by highly skilled teachers who truly understand elementary and middle school aged boys.

More than one hundred people live on our rural forty-one acre campus and call Fessenden their home. Fessenden is genuinely a global learning environment, enrolling students from fifty-eight different towns, twelve states and thirteen countries around the world. Each student’s experience is enriched by the diversity of our community, gaining an appreciation of the difference represented within the Fessenden Family.

To help during the transition to Fessenden, new day and boarding students and their parents are paired with a local host family. Over the summer, welcome families will contact their new family by phone or e-mail to get acquainted. In the fall, Fessenden hosts a reception for new families and current Fessy families who have volunteered for the Welcome Family Program.
