Whether your family is new or returning to Fessenden, the Parents Association (PA) looks forward to working with all of you to further close cooperation and understanding within our wonderful community. Please be sure to log in to My Fessy for access to customized news, announcements, photos, links, downloads and more.
Some of you have already witnessed, and others will soon discover that Fessenden truly brings out the best in boys. The power of what Fessenden teaches our boys is evident by the School's commitment to its traditional values of Honesty, Compassion and Respect. There is no better way to share and experience our boys’ school life and to practice honesty, compassion and respect than becoming involved in the PA. Indeed, there is nothing more powerful than to set an example for our boys through our own volunteerism. Whether or not it is standing out there, rain or shine, with our boys to hand out coffee and muffins to the drivers on Driver Appreciation Day, helping out at the Book Fair, coordinating community service projects, chaperoning other school activities or collecting used clothing and sports equipment for the Fessy Fall Sale, it is through these shared experiences with our boys, their teachers and fellow parents that we build and get to know this community. We would like to encourage you to get involved in the PA in whatever way that suits your schedule and interests.
The PA meets six times each year to review and plan PA sponsored events and to discuss issues of interest to the community. All parents are invited to these meetings. Please check the website for upcoming events and volunteer opportunities regularly, and join us at our events. We invite you to use the PA as a resource and a friend!
If you have any questions or comments about the activities of the PA, or if we can be of any help, do not hesitate to contact us. We can be reached via e-mail, phone or by dropping us a note in the PA mailbox in the mailroom at Fessenden.
We look forward to sharing the fun and spirit of our community with you.
