Fessenden has had a long standing commitment to Athletics as an integral part of the total educational experience for our students. We are proud of our tradition, breadth of program, athletic philosophy, dedicated and skilled coaching staff, and outstanding facilities. Boys of all shapes, sizes and abilities are afforded opportunities to participate in offerings ranging from traditional interscholastic team sports, to recreational and intramural activities. We believe strongly in the consistency of message, therefore, 95% of our coaches are full time faculty members. This assures continuity, and a knowledgeable coaching staff regarding learning styles and personalities. A student's coach can be their math teacher, dorm parent, advisor etc. thus, strengthening further the close bond faculty have with students in every aspect of school life. We also have a full time athletic trainer to ensure the safety of all Fessenden athletes and those of visiting teams. With our location just west of Boston, Fessenden's competitive teams play a full schedule against some sixty different schools, and are noted for their teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship. Our varsity teams compete at the highest levels and have won numerous N.E. Jr. Prep Championships throughout the years. Our field space and facilities, which include an ice rink, two swimming pools, thirteen tennis courts and the state of the art Pallotta Athletic Center, are second to none.
We invite you to explore the many athletic choices our program has to offer, check out seasonal schedules and use this site as a resource for questions and hopefully answers.

| | BRINGING OUT THE BEST IN BOYS
"THE BEST" ARE SELFLESS. THEY WANT THE ASSIST, NOT ONLY THE GOAL. IT IS THE LINEMAN WHO MAKES A CRITICAL BLOCK SO HIS RUNNING BACK CAN FIND A HOLE. IT IS THE UNDERSIZED LEFT-WINGER WHO LAUGHS AT THE WORD "INTIMIDATED." IT IS THE TEAM THAT WORKS TOGETHER TOWARDS A COMMON GOAL. |
