Faculty and Staff Honored at Headmaster's Recognition Dinner

Headmaster David Stettler awarded ten employees with faculty and staff prizes and recognized three employees for their service of 25 years to Fessenden during the annual Headmaster's Faculty and Staff Recognition Dinner.

Faculty and Staff Award and Prize Recipients
The Schlager Award is awarded to upper school history teachers JJ Morrissey and Brad Belin, who are working on integrating technology into the teaching of history.

The M&M Award is awarded to Kindergarten teachers Olivia Printzlau and Erin Garry for their work on the early childhood curriculum with an eye towards our new Pre-Kindergarten program.

The H. Joachim von der Goltz Prize is presented to Stacey Smalley, Language Co-Chair and Latin teacher, who shows an exceptional level of teaching and best exemplifies the qualities of a Fessenden master teacher.

The Gregory L. Palandjian Award is presented to upper school science teacher Kitty Stirling who encourages and inspires students to achieve to the full extent of their capabilities through hard work and determination while adhering to a solid code of values.

The Grandparents’ Award is presented to upper school science teacher Todd Fawcett who extends his responsibilities far beyond the walls of the classroom and selflessly assumes the role of surrogate parent, big brother, friend, advisor and mentor.

The Marilyn Shaughnessy Staff Award is awarded to Dori Barclay, Advancement Operations Manager, who carries out her job without fanfare while showing unflagging dedication to our school.

The Jeffrey Stevenson Memorial Prize is presented to Will Tuttle, IT Coordinator, who fulfills the roles of dorm parent, advisor, mentor, leader and friend, and his devotion to the school helps to create an environment where our boys feel at home.

The Wheeler Family Award is presented to ESL Co-Chair and Summer ESL Director Mark Hansen who in his daily interactions encourages and teaches the boys to be good citizens as well as good students and show by example the real impact of the Fessenden values of honesty, compassion and respect.

Headmaster Stettler also recognized Bob Pacitto, Athletic Equipment Manager; Marie St. Germain, Middle School Librarian and Tutor; and John Sostilio, Buildings & Grounds Director, for their 25 years of service to The Fessenden School. They join the esteemed group of 26 other current employees who have served the school for more than 25 years.
