Fessenden Announces Half-Day and Blended-Day Pre-K Programs

The Fessenden School is pleased to announce the addition of half-day and blended-day offerings to its full-day Pre-Kindergarten program, beginning in the fall of 2015. Details about Fessenden’s Pre-K programs are highlighted here:
PROGRAM: Fessenden’s Pre-K program recognizes each boy’s unique learning style and developmental stage. The added flexibility offered by our new half-day and blended-day Pre-K options will allow parents to embark on the journey of early childhood education at a pace that feels right for their sons. The opportunity to move from one program option to another (for example, half day to full day) will be available at certain times throughout the year, as indicated by a child’s developmental readiness. Fessenden’s Pre-K will continue to provide an enriching learning environment that balances curricular instruction, imaginary and creative play, physical exercise, and self-expression.
SCHEDULE: In addition to a core Pre-K curriculum, students will benefit from a balance of specials including Spanish, physical education, music, art and library in all scenarios allowing for growth and skill development.

* For parents of full-day students, Fessenden’s Extended Day Program will still be available on half-day Wednesdays if needed.
