Fourth Grade Camp-Out Fosters Friendship

9/25/2014
Recently, Fessenden held its annual fourth grade camp-out, a fun-filled tradition in which boys participate in team-building activities designed to cultivate new friendships. Each fall, boys pitch tents and follow a packed itinerary including a campus-wide scavenger hunt, a night swim under the lights, s’mores with Headmaster Stettler, and the highlight of the evening, an “explosive” demonstration by Science Bob, who shoots rocket launchers into the air.

Both new and returning boys bonded and learned more about one another during the camp-out. It also set the tone for a successful year in which leadership opportunities will abound as fourth grade students become role models for the Lower School.
