Seb Blickman '10 Nets Overtime Goal For Bucknell To Win Patriot League Championship

11/17/2014
Blickman's two goals propel Bucknell to the NCAA tournament

Seb Blickman '10, a member of the 2008 undefeated Fessy Varsity Soocer team who were also Eaglebrook Tournament Champions in the same year, reached another milestone on Sunday. Now a sophomore and a member of the Bucknell U. team, Seb played in the Patriot League Soccer Championship on Sunday against Boston University (the #1 seed and ranked 24th nationally in Div 1). Seb is currently playing center midfield and notched the go ahead goal in the 53rd minute. BU later tied the game 2-2 and sent the game to OT. Seb then netted the game winner about two minutes into the overtime period to take home the championship. Both goals were the first of his collegiate career.  Blickman was named to the All-Tournament Team and was recognized as the tournament MVP.

See the attached photes of Seb and Ryan Wolfsberg after the game (also Fessy class of '10, now playing baseball at Hamilton College) and a member of the same '08 undefeated Varsity and Eaglebrook Championship team.
