When we read the sage advice that our boys gave to incoming students, we couldn’t help but feel very proud of the young men they are becoming.
COASTSWEEP Community Service Project
“I think that there should be a law that, for two days out of the year, requires everybody to take part in cleaning up the earth. It wouldn't be a big nuisance to people but it would have an astronomically positive impact on our planet.” This was the reflection that one of eighth graders shared after spending the day with his classmates cleaning trash and debris from local New England beaches as volunteers for a program called COASTSWEEP. The pictures show the boys cleaning up various beaches in our area.
