The Ciongoli Center for Innovation can accommodate three different classes simultaneously, enabling teachers to facilitate educational experiences tailored to each grade level. The result is a space that is bursting at the seams with light-bulb moments, successes, failures, and constantly evolving questions, all of which support our iterative learning process. You’ll often see flashing LED lights from the many projects on display, hear the hum of 3D printers, and smell thermoplastic adhesive emanating from a hot glue gun. No matter the project or the tools, students are deeply engrossed in their learning. And with the help of full-time faculty members comprised of a Director of Innovation, an Innovation Coach, an Academic Technology Advocate, and three librarians, this space both embodies and amplifies Fessenden’s dedication to innovation.
