Andover JV Proves To Be Stiff Competition

Coach Welty
Well, that's one way to bring us down to Earth. Andover JV proved to a be an extremely challenging match, but I am so proud of the way the boys conducted themselves in a match against such an experienced team. It shouldn't go forgotten that Andover consistently has one of the strongest squash programs in the country, and for us to even steal a couple games against them is a feat in itself.

Among others, I saw William X., Nate L., and Andre Z. working on the fundamentals that we introduced this week in practice. I encouraged players to lengthen points as long as they could, hit good rails, and keep a positive attitude on court. All players did a great job of this!

Special shoutout to Alexander Yang, who continued his strong start on the court, this time by going to five against JV #1 and former Fessy Bear, Jason Kim!

Also in addition to Jason, fun to see a variety of former Fessy Bears: Avery Lin, Andrew Ohn, and Axel Orbon! See below for full match results.
