Varsity Basketball Rolls Over Tough Belmont Hill Team.

The Varsity Basketball team traveled to arch rival Belmont Hill Friday and put forth a great effort in a 62-45 victory. The Bears turned solid defense into offense early on in the game to build a 20 point lead at the half.  But BH rallied back to within 9 points midway through the second half, but Fessy responded with another late run to put the game away.  Co-Captain Alex E. put together a dominating performance at both ends of the floor  and ended up with 26 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals.  Justin U. also had an excellent game running the point with 13 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals.  Kayden H. overcame some early foul trouble to notch 12 points and 4 rebounds , while contributing some solid defense all game long.  Rohan R. came off the bench to give us some solid minutes and knocked down a key three pointer.  Rory F. continues to be a tough presence on the glass with 7 rebounds on the day.

The Bears will jump right back into action after the long weekend with a game Tuesday at home versus Nobles JV……and then will finish off the week with another neutral site game Friday at Cushing against rival Eaglebrook.
