President of the Board of Trustees, Joanna Jacobson, pays tribute to Robbie: “She fought cancer valiantly for several years with unsurpassed grace, selflessness and determination. Robbie Lacritz Deitch served on The Fessenden School Board of Trustees from 2001-2006, as a member of the Executive Committee of the Parents Association, as a Chair of the Annual Fund for three years and as the Chair of the Annual Fund Red & Gray Committee for one year. In 2004, Robbie and her husband Joe, established the Lacritz Deitch Fund at Fessenden to support Faculty Compensation. Fessenden was only one of the organizations that benefited from Robbie’s generous and zealous service. A passionate philanthropist, she served on the boards of many organizations and volunteered to improve the lives of countless people in need.

Wendy Pearre, Lower School Head remembers Robbie, “Robbie Lacritz Deitch was an incredible human being. The grace, wisdom and love for others that she showed throughout her life was truly remarkable. This woman was a dynamo! No job was too big, she attacked life and lived it to the fullest. She was my hero. All of us who had the pleasure of knowing her will forever be touched.”

Our heartfelt condolences are extended to the Lacritz and Deitch families for their loss. Robbie is survived by her husband Joe and their son Matthew ’02 as well as her mother Elaine Lacritz and sister Joan Lampert.
