Parent Giving at The Fessenden School
Parents have a time-honored tradition of philanthropic support at Fessenden. In the past year, parent gifts accounted for $2,002,663 of the $2.5 million raised for the Annual Fund. Gifts to the Annual Fund have provided resources to enhance curricular programs, purchase classroom equipment, and fund the most pressing needs of the School.
The 2022-2023 Annual Fund supports many initiatives including:
Competitive and compelling faculty salaries and benefits
Additional 3D printers and power drills for the Ciongoli Center for Innovation
Helmets and jerseys for the football program
Increased financial aid assistance
Field study trips to Camp Burgess and Washington, D.C.
New xylophones and a set of Orff mallets for Lower School music
We are grateful to Annual Fund Co-Chairs Adam Abramson P’23, ’26, Kirsten Hughes P’28, ’30, and Tad and Melissa Yanagi P’27, 29, ’31 and the more than 25 Annual Fund volunteers whose work helped achieve an 86% giving rate among Fessenden parents last year.
